Before going to the Shepard Fairy's art show we decided to stop by Dodger Stadium for a tour. For $20 you get to see the ins and outs of the stadium and you get a quick history lesson on the ball club.
The Dodgers have a ton of history to share, the team has been around since 1883 and started in Brooklyn, NY. In 1958 the Dodgers moved to LA and played at the coliseum for their first 4 years. Then in 1962 they moved into their current home. There have been many great players that have worn a Dodger jersey and one Dodger has their number retired across the MLB and that would be #42 Jackie Robinson.
As a designer one of my favorite things about the tour was to see all the old advertisements, ticket stubs and vintage signs. All the art has a great classic nostalgia to it that I appreciated a lot.
If you ever in the neighborhood, I would recommend checking it out. Go Dodgers!
